I absolutely love this place. The cocktails are good and the food is delicious. I love love love the sopa azteca it has great depth of flavor and a good kick of spice! The moles are delicious as well and the staff are gracious and kind.

Having lived in Mexico City for several years, we attest that they’ve got the food right. Just go give it a try. Service was excellent.
The staff is amazing and provides spot-on recommendations on everything from cocktails to mains. Lots of interesting cocktails and tons of unique and authentic dishes. I’m working my way through the moles which are some of the best I’ve had. Molcajete for 2 is stupid good. You have some left over to take home to scramble up with eggs the next morning.
I’m visiting from Chicago. Had to try some Mexican food while in Austin. Glad I chose this place! I a short ride from my hotel, it was definitely worth the expense! I had the chicken enchiladas with chipotle creamer sauce. Better than I expected for sure! The chips and salsa were fresh and fantastic. My dining companion had a chicken burro nortena. He said he doesn’t normally think “wow this is really good”, but today he did! The service was fantastic, and the price was very reasonable.
We heard good reviews from friends and colleagues about this restaurant and decided to give them a try, and were glad that we did! The food was amazing and flavorful. Definitely will be a regular here.
This place is fantastic—everyone should come try it out! There aren’t a lot of restaurants in this area, and it’s off the beaten path, so I never would have found it if I hadn’t been searching carefully for this kind of Mexican restaurant experience. I was greeted warmly and served quickly the whole time. It feels like a chill home-style Mexican dining experience but with the clean, beautifully designed interior you want in a commercial restaurant. The food was warm and tasted as though it was handmade carefully by people cooking with their heart. I am going to make this a new go-to when I’m in the area, and will bring friends as well. Hoping they have much success!
I had a one of the best meal experiences Was really tired from working and this meal was the best thing for my soul. Very delicious in a gentle way. It felt like I had authentic Mexican food If you live around here you are lucky to have this restaurant.
